Orts Almurziev, disappeared resident of Ingushetia, detained in Kazakhstan
Law enforcement agents of Kazakhstan detained Orts Almurziev, a native of Ingushetia, whose disappearance in October 2012 was reported by his relatives. This was stated on April 29 by Akhmed Kotiev, Secretary of the Republic's Security Council.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that, according to the relatives' story, Orts Almurziev, who dealt with installation of windows, disappeared on October 18, 2012, after he left for work. On October 24, 2012, in the forest, between the villages of Ali-Yurt and Surkhakhi, human remains, presumably, the remains of Orts Almurziev, were found; however, the parents of the disappeared man did not identify them.
On April 29, representatives of the Security Council of Ingushetia met the relatives of Orts Almurziev. At the meeting, Akhmed Kotiev reported that on April 26, Orts Alikovich Almurziev, born in 1981, was detained in the Kazakh city of Uralsk, the today's statement of the Human Rights Centre "Memorial" reports.
According to the information of the law enforcement agencies, Orts Almurziev is suspected of involvement in a number of crimes in Ingushetia and North Ossetia. The relatives of Orts Almurziev claim they knew nothing about his whereabouts and insist on his innocence.
