In the first quarter of 2013, Ingushetia had 26 victims of the armed conflict

In the territory of Ingushetia, from January 1 to March 31, 2013, at least 26 persons fell victim to the armed conflict, including 13 persons were killed, and 13 more were wounded. These are the results of the calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Among the casualties, there are one law enforcer and 12 persons, involved, according to law-enforcement bodies, in the armed underground.

The list of wounded persons includes 11 civilians, one law enforcer and one person, involved, according to power agents, in the armed underground.

In January, no victims of the conflict were registered in Ingushetia. In February, there were 18 victims, including, under the specified data, six killed persons and 12 wounded ones. In March, the republic had eight victims, including seven killed persons and one wounded person.

The above statistics is unable to reflect, with a 100-percent precision, the number of victims under each of the categories specified in the report. Not all the data gets into news reports. It is not always possible to check the truthfulness of the statements made by law-enforcement bodies.

During the previous three months - within the last quarter of 2012 - at least 28 persons fell victim to the armed conflict in Ingushetia; 15 of them were killed, and 13 more were wounded.

During the whole 2012, in the republic, at least 84 persons were killed and at least 83 more were wounded - in total 167 victims.
