Suspect of killing KBR native in Saint Petersburg detained
On April 17, in the Novgorod Region, Olamafruz Ismailov, a 21-year-old citizen of Tajikistan, who is suspected of murdering a native of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) in Saint Petersburg, was detained.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning on April 11, in the territory of Sennoy Rynok in Saint Petersburg, a mass fight occurred, which involved more than 10 persons. A 33-year-old native of the KBR was killed in the fight. According to the preliminary version of the police, the fight was of everyday nature. After the conflict, nearly 600 persons were detained during preventive raids conducted by the Federal Migration Service and the police.
In the course of the investigation into the criminal case, the Chief Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) in Saint Petersburg presented charges of murder to Olamafruz Ismailov, a citizen of Tajikistan, the website of the ICRF reports.
Olamafruz Ismailov faces charges of murder; he fully admitted his guilt in the crime; and at present, the issue of his arrest is under consideration, the RIA "Novosti" quotes a source in law enforcement bodies as saying.
