Ovannisyan tells rally about peaceful change of power in Armenia

Today, an opposition rally in support of the leader of the "Heritage" Party Raffi Ovannisyan was held in Yerevan. Addressing the rally, Mr Ovannisyan said that he would continue his struggle for power, but stressed that this should be done peacefully.

"In the coming days, weeks and months we will not give rest to the authorities," said the politician from the podium, adding that he would seek the change of the regime without resorting to violence, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

Raffi Ovannisyan called on all the political forces, parties and civil initiatives to unite in the struggle against the current authorities and declared his readiness to start the "Nationwide Movement".
