"Rospotrebnadzor" rejects products of 12 Georgian wineries

During the recent inspection held in Georgia by experts of the "Rospotrebnadzor" (Russia's Federal Agency for Consumer Supervision) has rejected products of 12 Georgian wine producers. These factories will be unable to supply products to Russia, said Gennady Onischenko, the head of the agency and the chief state sanitary doctor of Russia.

"Out of all the legal entities, whom we inspected, twelve will not be given a permit to export to Russia," said Mr Onischenko, as the "Interfax" reports.

According to the head of "Rospotrebnadzor", the ban was caused by inadequate logistics and technologies of wine production, which fail to meet the requirements for production of wine products.

It is not specified which particular factories have evoked criticism of Russian specialists, not reported. There are also no comments of Georgian wineries on the statement of the "Rospotrebnadzor" boss.
