"Novaya Sila" picketers collect 170 signatures to demand removal of Stavropol Territory out of NCFD

The city of Stavropol has hosted a sanctioned rally of the nationalist party "Novaya Sila" (New Force). Within two hours, the activists collected about 170 signatures to the petition to the authorities demanding the return the Stavropol Territory from the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) back to the Southern Federal District (SFD) and introduction in the territory of a special migration regime for natives from Northern Caucasus and Transcaucasia.

The rally was held on April 6 in the square named after the 200th anniversary of the city. The collection of passers'-by signatures to the appeal to President Vladimir Putin was undertaken by a group of activists of the "Novaya Sila" headed by Evgeniy Boyarsky, the chairman of the branch.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the party office that the picket passed without incidents; the public order was guarded by several policemen. During the entire picket, activists collected over 170 signatures. Since the beginning of pickets in the Stavropol Territory they collected about one thousand signatures in support of the stated demands.
