The court in Ingushetia granted the claims of the tenants of a house pulled down in the stanitsa of Orjonikidzevkaya
Sunzha district court granted the claims of the tenants of a house pulled down in the stanitsa of Orjonikidzevkaya, Ingushetia, acknowledging the actions of the administration of the settlement and the region unlawful.
Seven families who lived in a two-storeyed privatized block of flats, house No 100, Visaiytov street, remained homeless because their dwelling was pulled down. The flats given to them according to the program of resettlement from decrepit houses and those under the threat of collapse dissatisfied the tenants for they had less living space and were located in another settlement.
Seven lawsuits are under consideration within the framework of the case. The “Caucasian Knot” correspondent was told in the registry that on March, 26, 2013, the judge brought a verdict on the case of the tenants of the pulled down house granting their claims and acknowledging the actions of the administration of the settlement and the region unlawful.
“The court obliged the Administration of the stanitsa of Orjonikidzevkaya to cover cash payments to the tenants of the pulled down house to rent dwellings for the period of settling the dwelling problem. The court also obliged the administration of the settlement to grant the claimants equivalent dwellings within the area of the rural settlement”, the sufferers’ attorney reported.
