Fund to support Vitaly Kaloyev, charged with murdering Skyguide air traffic controller, to be established in North Osetia

A special fund to provide legal defense for Vitaly Kaloyev, who is accused by Swiss prosecutors of murdering a Skyguide air traffic controller, will likely be established in North Osetia.

The head of the information and analytical section of the North Osetian parliament, Fatima Khabalova, announced it on March 4.

According to her, legal details of the fund's creation are under discussion in the parliament of North Osetia now.

Kaloyev is suspected of murdering the Skyguide air traffic controller who was on duty on the night of the air crash over Lake Constance. Kaloyev was arrested in a hotel in Kloten the next day after the murder.

He denies his guilt.
