Pickets against deprivation of Russians in Finland of parental rights held in Krasnodar Territory
On December 10 and 11, the KrasnodarTerritory hosted a series of solo pickets of activists of the party "Communists of Russia", who raised the issue of deprivation of Russians in Finland of their parental rights, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
The pickets were triggered by the information that appeared in media in early December saying that Anastasia Zavgorodnyaya, a mother of four children, was deprived of her parental rights by Finnish authorities. In September, the Russian woman and her husband who live in Finland were suspected of applying violence to their children. The children were transferred to a shelter, and then – to a foster family.
The first picket was held in the evening on December 10 in the village of Kalininskaya. On the following day in the afternoon from about 12:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. pickets were held opposite the representative office of the MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affair) and in the trade gallery of the resort city.
Dmitry Pechinsky, the secretary for information policy of the regional branch of the "Communist of Russia", said that today in the evening in Krasnodar pickets were held at the city and territorial administrations from about 5 to 6 p.m.
