Court extends custody of 53 defendants in Nalchik attack case
Today, at the trial conducted by the Supreme Court of Kabardino-Balkaria on the case of the attack on Nalchik, the court has announced the decision on extending the detention of 53 defendants.
Four of them – Zalim Ulimbashev, Sergey Kaziev, Kazbek Budtuev and Anzor Ashev – will remain under recognizance not to leave, while the remaining 49 will stay in custody.
The court had planned then to pass over to announcing the materials of the criminal case, but the session was adjourned after the advocate of the defendant Sokmyshev demanded to call a doctor to her client and offered the adjournal.
