Case on human deaths at flood in Krymsk sent to court

The indictment against four senior officials of the Krymsk District has been approved; and the case has been sent to the court. They are accused of negligence that resulted in human deaths during the flood in July 2012.

The case files have been sent to the Krymsk District Court, which should appoint the case for hearing within 14 days. In total, there are 197 volumes in the case, the RAPSI reports.

The charges are brought against the officials under Part 2, Article 292 (forgery, violating legitimate rights and interests), Part 3, Article 293 (negligence that caused the death of two or more persons), and Part 3, Article 30 and Part 3, Article 159.2 (attempted fraud in obtaining payments committed by an official), the "Komsomolskaya Pravda" writes.
