A trial on Budanov's murder defence asks to remove a number of proofs against the defendant
Today, the advocates of Yusuf Temerkhanov, a native of Chechnya, accused of killing the former Colonel Yuri Budanov, moved a motion to exclude a number of proofs from the case files, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
The prosecutor has read out the indictment against Temerkhanov. The defence stated that some of the proofs of the defendant's guilt are inadmissible and asked to exclude them.
"We ask to exclude the expert's opinion, as the signature about the warning about responsibility for giving false conclusion was put afterwards. When preparing another protocol, the witnesses were not explained their rights at their participation in investigatory actions. Besides, the protocol was not presented to the participants of the above actions and was not certified with their signatures," Darya Trenina, a Temerkhanov's advocate, has announced the motion.
During the session, Yusuf Temerkhanov himself made several attempts to speak out, for which the judge Andrei Korotkov gave him two remarks "for shouting" and warned that in case of a repeated violation he would remove him out of the courtroom till the pleadings.
