Gagloity: Georgia sets new post on border with South Ossetia

The village of Zemo-Nikozi, near the border with South Ossetia, is now housing a police station set up there by the Georgian party. Khokh Gagloity, the head of the delegation of South-Ossetian, said today at the meeting in Ergneti within the MPRI, that such Georgia's actions go against international agreements.

"This action is regarded as threatening by Georgia, causing a threat to stability and security in the region. This position of the South-Ossetian delegation at the MPRI has been also brought to the attention of international observers from the EU. The fact of setting up this post, along with setting up a post in Zardiantkari last summer and the fact of holding fire to kill at South-Ossetian border guards in the border area Koda-Tsnelis on December 2 last year, are contrary to the basic international agreements 'Medvedev-Sarkozy'," said Gagloity.

So far, the Georgian party gave no comments on the outcomes of the meeting within the MPRI. It is planned that the 33rd meeting will take place on April 16.
