Now the Kashatag District has 29 Armenian families from Syria, a total of 105 people, David Davtyan, the chief of staff of the district administration told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The construction works are financed by the government, private companies and the charity fund "Kashatakh".

In the city of Kovsakan, a building was repaired for Syrian Armenians; and eight families are provided with housing. The village of Ishkhanadzor is building a block of 10 apartments and several individual cottages.

In Kovsakan, 12 families of Syrian Armenians already have permanent housing facilities; and homes are being built for the rest of them. Here, Syrian Armenians are mainly engaged in farming; for this purpose, they were granted from 50 to 200 hectares of land.
