The authorities of Chechnya ask the Kremlin to include construction of three new railway stations into the program of development of North-Caucasian Federal Okrug

Chechen authorities are going to build three new modern railway stations that would meet increasing demands of the republic in the towns of Grozny, Gudermes and Argun. A suggestion of including this project into the State program of development of North-Caucasian Federal Okrug till 2025 was submitted to Federal Center.

“The railway stations now existing in Grozny, Gudermes and Argun were built yet last and the first one even before last century and they quite misfit the present-day demands. Modern railway stations must not only be able to receive a great number of passengers and solve some other tasks but they should also have a well-developed infrastructure: hotels, office premises and parking lots. Today we still do not have all these”, a source in the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Chechnya said to the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.
