Woman from Makhachkala states disappearance of her husband

Irada Djarullaeva has stated disappearance of her husband Bakhtavar Djarullaev, 27, a resident of Makhachkala. She cannot define her husband's whereabouts since March 4 and does not rule out that her husband could have been kidnapped.

Bakhtavar Djarullaev is engaged in therapeutic bloodletting and works as a private taxi driver, the woman told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"Yesterday, at about 4:00 p.m., he went to work in his car; he was there till 5:00 p.m.; and for lack of clients he decided to drive out to the line. Our last telephone conversation took place at that time; today I also unsuccessfully tried to call on two Bakhtavar's mobile phones, although my call signals went through. We went to the Soviet ROVD (District Police Division) of Makhachkala; however, my husband wasn't there," said the woman.

Irada Djarullaeva also said that Bakhtavar Djarullaev is strictly practicing Muslim; he was not registered at the police; and they have no children in the family.
