A local resident earlier kidnapped in Dagestan released

A local resident kidnapped by unknown people in Kizilyurt was released and was able to get home by himself, the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Dagestan reports.

It was reported earlier that on November, 24, a man aged 52 was kidnapped from his house by masked strangers equipped by self-firers. A criminal case was initiated on the incident according to clause 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (kidnapping).

At night of November, 26, the criminals released the man near a cafe in the 782nd kilometer of the "Caucasus" federal highway near the settlement of Komsomolskoye, Kizilyurt district. From there the man reached home by passing cars, web-site of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Dagestan reports.

No other details or the name of the kidnapped man were reported.
