In the settlement of Kalinin Lema Sigauri was mounting a heating system in a private house. On finishing his work on November, 23, he left saying that next morning he would go to Chechen State University where he studied and then return and continue work.

"Earlier, Lema called us several times a day and when he got home in the evening he always called me. I am sure that something happened to my son and he became victim of some criminal actions", Rovzan Sigauri says.

The woman states that her son "never had any problems with the law". Rovzan Sigauri sent messages to "Memorial" human rights center, "Amnesty International" organization, regional civil movement "Chechen Committee of National Salvation", human rights organization "MASHR" asking for aid in organization of her son's search and protection of his constitutional rights.
