Karabakh military report on combat with Azerbaijan commandos
The press service of the Defense Ministry of the Republic of Nagorny Karabakh issued a statement, claiming that a group of Azerbaijan commandos was neutralized in the outskirts of the Bash Karvend settlement on February 26. The group reportedly crossed the first defense line of the Karabakh forces. Units on duty took necessary measures to suppress sabotage.
One member of the group was killed and several more were wounded in the exchange of intense fire. When falling back, the Azerbaijan commandos took the wounded with them, leaving the killed man's body on the Karabakh side. Representatives of the OSCE and the International Committee of the Red Cross have been notified of the incident.
