Parties of Karabakh conflict accuse each other of shelling
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has accused the Armenian armed forces of breaking the ceasefire on November 16 and at night on November 17. In response, the spokesman of the Defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh has accused the units of the Azerbaijani Army of shelling along the whole contact line.
During November 16 and at night on November 17, the Armenian armed forces broke the ceasefire from the positions located on nameless heights of the Krasnoselsky District of Armenia and near the village of Shykhlar of the Agdam District, said the spokesman of the Azerbaijani MoD.
In all the cases, the fire was suppressed by return shelling, the "1news.az" reports with reference to the press service of the Azerbaijani MoD.
According to the Defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh, during the week the Azerbaijani party violated the ceasefire on the contact line for more than 200 times. In total, the units of the Azerbaijani army fired about 600 rounds from different firearms in the direction of the Armenian positions, the Armenia Today reports referring to the spokesman of the Defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh.
