Attorney of one of the defendants on the case of terror in “Domodedovo” reports threats to his client in the investigative isolation ward
Tatiana Okushko, attorney of Bashir Khamkhoev accused of committing the act of terror in “Domodedovo” airport, appealed to Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation in connection with the information she received about threats to her client from Chief of Federal state facility Investigative isolation ward No 4 colonel Alexey Khorev.
In her telegram to Prosecutor General Okushko states that the threats to her client come personally from Chief of the IIW colonel Alexey Khorev. “For the reason that A.A. Khorev is an official responsible for safety of a person kept in the IIW Bashir Khamkhoev takes the threats seriously. I ask for an inspection”, the attorney’s statement runs.
Tatiana Okushko told the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent that during their last meeting her client said that Chief of IIW No 4 spoke to him using unprintable language saying that he wanted to “pour kerosene over the defendant and set him on fire”.
The lawyer also states that the twenty-year-old Bashir Khamkhoev for some reasons he cannot understand is almost all the time kept in a lockup. In this connection Tatiana Okushko worries about the state of her client’s health because Bashir Khamkhoev was detained on the day when he got into a road accident and got grave head injuries.
According to Okushko, she repeatedly entered motions of her client’s medical examination with the participation of a neurosurgeon to the court but all her motions were ignored.
The “Caucasian Knot” has yet no comments from the management of the IIW or Department of Federal Penal Service concerning the lawyer’s statement.
