A motion of challenge to the judge dismissed at a trial on murder in Kushevskaya in Krasnodar

During the process on the case of mass murder in Kushevskaya Krasnodar regional court dismissed a motion of suspect Sergey Tsapok’s attorney, the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent reports.

On November, 5, 2010, 12 killed people including four children were found in a farmer’s housing estate in Kushevskaya. Several people were detained in process of investigation of the criminal case of mass murder. Sergey Tsapok is suspected of organizing this crime, however, he does not acknowledge himself guilty.

During today’s session Tsapok’s attorney Igor Skripka challenged Chief justice explaining it by his prejudiced attitude towards the defense.

The sufferers’ representatives and state prosecutor objected against Skripka’s statement because they saw no reasons for challenge to the judge. Judge Kulkov dismissed the motion of challenge.
