In Armenia, political parties of CIS countries agree to cooperate

Today, in Yerevan, within the ongoing Inter-Party Consultations, dedicated to the creation of the Eurasian Union, a memorandum was signed of cooperation between the political parties of Armenia, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the press service of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) that, according to the document, the signatories expressed their willingness to continue the dialogue within the programme of creation of the Eurasian Union.

At the same time, the RPA's leaders believe that at present, it is still premature to speak of the prospects of Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Union, since the interstate project has not been approved, the "Arminfo" reports.

Party representatives also expressed their willingness to participate in similar consultations to be held in early December in Saint Petersburg.
