In Moscow, at trial on case of attempt to blow up "Sapsan" train, prosecutors complete presenting evidence

At the court session of the Moscow City Court on the case of attempt to undermine the high-speed passenger train "Sapsan", prosecutors completed presentation of prosecution evidences. This was reported by Abusupyan Gaitaev, a lawyer of one of the defendants.

The defendants in the case are members of the terrorist organization "Imarat Kavkaz" Mansur Edilbiev, Mansur Umaev, Fail Nevlyutov, and Islam Khamzhuev.

"On Tuesday, the prosecutors completed the presentation of evidence," Abusupyan Gaitaev stated. He has added that during the next court session, scheduled for Wednesday, November 7, the Court will proceed to the interrogation of the defendants.

According to the lawyer, he asked the Court to call the experts to comment on their findings and the witnesses and the FSB investigators, who were present during the searches, the "RAPSI" (Russian Agency of Legal and Judicial Information) reports.

The Court has refused to call the experts and noted that their research is quite clear. However, the Court has granted the motion to call the witnesses and the investigator, and they were summoned to the trial.

The defence of the defendants does not rule out that the sentence can be announced by the end of this month, the "Echo Moskvy" reports.
