Three persons killed and ten injured in road accident with shuttle in Kabardino-Balkaria
On November 3, in Kabardino-Balkaria, a shuttle (fixed-route taxi) ran against a passenger car: three persons were killed and ten more injured, the spokesman of the republic's MIA has reported.
The traffic accident occurred on the 36th kilometre of the highway Prokhladny-Elkhotovo.
"It was established that the shuttle Mercedes collided with a VAZ-2106 driven by a man born in 1931. The collision caused fire in the shuttle," said Marina Kyasova, the press secretary of the local MIA.
According to her story, the driver of the car one of his passengers were killed, and 10 shuttle passengers were taken to hospital. One young lady later died from injuries, RIA "Novosti" reports.
According to preliminary data, the VAZ-2106 drove into the oncoming traffic lane, the "Interfax" reports with reference to the republic's GIBDD (traffic police).
