Refugees in Georgia broke into the territory of Republican hospital in Zugdidi
Ten refugee families broke into the territory of Republican hospital in Zugdidi. An attempt of several families to intrude into the building of a research center in Poti failed.
Socially insecure residents of Georgia, including refugees from Abkhazia and South Ossetia occupy building for dwelling because, according to them, they are unable to pay the rent. Several tens buildings were occupied in October. On October, 30, about 20 socially insecure citizens went on a hunger strike in front of the building of the Ministry of Public Health of Georgia demanding to provide them with dwellings.
The building in Zugdidi the refugees broke into on October, 31, belongs to “Block Georgia” company and had been prepared for reconditioning. The owners of the building reported illegal encroachment to the police and asked to help them vacate the premises, “Georgia Online” informs.
On the same day, October, 31, the news of an attempt to break into the building of a research center in Poti appeared. Representatives of the center declared that the building belonged to the Ministry of Economy and nobody had a right to misappropriate it, “Echo of the Caucasus” reports.
According to the latest data, about 1 660 people occupied over 50 objects in Tbilisi and other towns of the country, “Novosti Georgia” informs.
