The Government of Armenia allotted about 50 thousand euros to pay the fines on the cases lost in the European Court

Today at the session of the Government it was decided to allot from state budget about 50 thousand euros to pay the fines on the cases the Republic of Armenia lost in the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).

The Government took this decision in accordance with the obligation the Republic of Armenia assumed before ECtHR. The Government will direct the sum of about 50 thousand euros on paying the fines on four cases lost in ECtHR this year.

The Government of Armenia is obliged to pay compensation on the following cases: “Muradkhanyan vs. Armenia” - 6,227 euros, “Pogosyan and Bagdasaryan vs. Armenia” - 30,500 euros, “Malhasyan vs. Armenia” - 4,543 euros and “Firuzyan vs. Armenia” - 8,018 euros, “Armenia Today” reports.
