Member of presidential Commission on Human Rights asks Luzhkov to place barrier to Fascist ideology

The member of the Russian President's Commission on Human Rights, Svetlana Gannushkina, has appealed to Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov drawing his attention to leaflets extremist in content that appeared in Moscow metro trains. These leaflets call upon the citizens to come to the meeting "Clear Moscow of Chechen Bandits."

Svetlana Gannushkina expresses hope that "the meeting is not authorized by the Moscow official authorities," and makes an appeal to Yuri Luzhkov "to take all the necessary measures in order that this meeting will not be held and will not disgrace Moscow," as well as to take under control "not only the action itself, but the activity of those people who propagate the Fascist ideology in the capital."
