Suspected militant shot dead in KBR during special operation
Today, in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), in the course of operative-search actions, law enforcers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and FSB Department for the KBR have liquidated an alleged militant.
According to the above power entities, a grenade known as "khattabka", and F-1 grenade and a pistol with 30 rounds were found on the casualty.
None of the power agents was injured. The person of the casualty is being established.
A criminal case was opened under Articles 222 (illegal circulation of arms and ammunition), 223 (illegal manufacture of weapons) and 317 (attempt on the life of a law enforcer) of the Russian Criminal Code.
Also in Nalchik, this morning at 9:30 a.m., two unidentified persons attacked a police stronghold at No. 18 Musov Street, said the MIA press service for the KBR. A district policemen, who was at his service there received a leg wound; and an occasional pensioner, who at the time of the attack was taking out garbage, was also wounded, said the official website of the MIA for the KBR.
