Ingushetia: policeman injures child of nine by negligence
Today, a nine-year-old boy was hospitalized in Ingushetia after a policeman occasionally shot at him from a submachine gun, said the spokesman of the Investigatory Department for Ingushetia of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
According to his story, today, the 9-year-old Alexander Khukhro, a resident of the rural settlement Troitskoe, Sunzha District, was brought to the Sunzha district central hospital with a gunshot wound in his chest.
"According to preliminary data, the gunshot wound was inflicted to the boy by Andrei Borodenko, 24, a policeman, as a result of careless handling the weapon, when he visited the family of the victim as a guest," the official website of the ICRF reports today.
According to the above spokesman, Borodenko went to visit the Khukhro family and while playing with the child inadvertently shot at the little Sasha. Initiation of a criminal case is now decided; the perpetrator has been detained, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
