Sabsabi: Public prosecutor's office of Dubai and Interpol stopped search of Adam Delimkhanov
Prosecutor General's of Dubai exonerated Deputy of State Duma of the Russian Federation Adam Delimkhanov who in 2009 on the initiative of Dubai party was declared a wanted person by Interpol from all the charges. This was reported by Senator Ziyad Sabsabi.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that in April of 2009 the police of Dubai considered "United Russia" Deputy in State Duma of the Russian Federation from Chechnya Adam Delimkhanov, cousin of Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, involved in the murder of Sulim Yamadaev, ex-commander of Chechen battalion "Vostok", Hero of Russia. This January a source in Russian secret services reported that the police of Dubai withdrew international search warrant on Delimkhanov.
In accordance with a letter of attorney Ziyad Sabsabi represented Adam Delimkhanov's interests in Dubai, Press service of Head and the Government of Chechen republic reported.
"I have a document signed by Head of Prosecutor General's of Dubai informing General Department of Investigation and Criminal Intelligence Service of the Emirate that on studying and review of this case by law enforcement bodies of Dubai it was decided to stop search", Sabsabi declared.
He emphasized that Delimkhanov was notified of stoppage of search according to a legally established procedure. In addition, according to the Senator, "all the legislative demands of the Emirate and regulations of sharia in force in this country were strictly observed during consideration of the question of stoppage of search by Prosecutor General's and juridical bodies of Dubai", official web-site of Head and the Government of Chechen Republic reports.
It should be mentioned that Delimkhanov had expressed his readiness to collaborate with the police of Dubai but called the accusations of his involvement in the crime a provocation.
