Ministry of Public Health of Adygea: three locals and six Turkish citizens hospitalized with poisoning
The condition of six Turkish citizens and three residents of Adygea, taken to hospitals of the cities Adygeisk and Maikop with a suspected acute intestinal poisoning, is satisfactory, said the republic's Ministry of Public Health.
Let us remind you that according to the Southern Regional Centre (SRC) of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE), on July 17 at 3:00 p.m. the city hospital of Adygeisk admitted 30 persons - 28 citizens of Turkey and two citizens of the Republic of Adygea. The SRC has added that 14 of them are children.
"Nine of the new patients can be diagnosed of 'acute intestinal poisoning.' The rest of them were hospitalized as 'contact persons.' Assays were taken from all of them," a source from the above SRC told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to his story, on July 15-17, a delegation of 62 people (31 Russian citizens and 31 Turkish ones) was touring the Krasnodar Territory, visiting Adyg villages of the Tuapse and Lazarevskoe Districts.
As reported by the department of "Rospotrebnadzor" (Russian Federal Agency for Consumer Supervision) for Adygea, out of 63 participants of the voyage to the Krasnodar Territory, 9 persons have fallen ill.
Larisa Doleva, the deputy head of the above "Rospotrebnadzor" for Adygea, said: "Maybe they got poisoned after eating chebureks with meat and cheese, bought from some unknown persons. The final diagnosis will be established after studying the assays at the laboratory."
She noted, referring to doctors that the life of the patients is out of danger.
