Court arrests Chief of Kabardino-Balkarian Pension Fund
The Nalchik City Court arrested Khasanbi Sheozhev, Chief of the Pension Fund of the Kabardino-Balkaria, on suspicion of embezzlement of 68 million roubles. This was reported by a source in the republic's law enforcement agencies.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 14, the Chief of the Branch of the Pension Fund in Kabardino-Balkaria was detained in Nalchik. The official is charged of theft of funds in a large scale 68,660,000 roubles by swindle.
"The court has assigned keeping in custody as pre-trial restriction to Khasanbi Sheozhev," RIA "Novosti" quotes the source in the law enforcement agencies.
According to Khabas Egazhukov, the lawyer of Khasanbi Sheozhev, the head of the Pension Fund of the Kabardino-Balkaria is arrested for two months.
The lawyer has not commented on the decision of the court. Meanwhile, comments of Khasanbi Sheozhev are also unavailable.
