Tbilisi Court of Appeal upholds decision to arrest satellite antennas of "Maestro" TV Company
The Tbilisi Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the Tbilisi City Court of the arrest of 10,000 satellite antennas of the "Maestro" TV Company.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Tbilisi City Court pronounced the decision on confiscation of a shipment of satellite dishes on the basis of suspicions that their purchase might be associated with the pre-election campaign of Bidzina Ivanishvili. The administration of the "Maestro" TV Company has challenged the decision on the arrest, treating it as unlawful.
Today, the Tbilisi Court of Appeal dismissed the complaint of the TV Company.
Bacho Kikabidze, General Director of the "Maestro" TV Company, they have already passed the advertising agreements, concluded between the TV Company and the "Georgian Dream" and the "Komagi" Foundation, and the reports of cash transfers to the Service for Financial Monitoring of the State Audit, the "Georgia Online" reports.
Till present, the Financial Monitoring Service of the State Audit has not responded to the submitted materials, the "Ekho Kavkaza" (Echo of the Caucasus) reports.
