Oppositionists from three South-Caucasian countries hold conference in Tbilisi
Representatives of three oppositional political parties and civil society activists of Southern Caucasus are taking part in July 13-15 Tbilisi-based conference "Promoting freedom, peace and prosperity in the Caucasus".
Armenia is represented by the Armenian Nationwide Movement, Azerbaijan – by the "Musavat" Party, and Georgia – by the Republican Party.
The participants plan to discuss the situation in each of the Caucasian countries; they will also address the ways for Southern Caucasus' integration into European structures.
The topics to be discussed include the development of the civil society, democratic reforms and elections, conflict settlement, especially in Nagorno-Karabakh, respect of rights and freedoms, the "ArmeniaToday" reports.
The event was organized by the German Friedrich Naumann Foundation, the "News.am" reports.
