In Krasnodar Territory, compensation paid to about 10,000 victims
Cash compensations of 10,000 roubles were paid to 9,860 victims of the flooding in the Krasnodar Territory. This was reported today by Boris Glebov, Deputy Chairman of the Commission for Emergencies of the administration of the Krasnodar Territory, at the meeting of the operational headquarters.
"As of 5:00 p.m., compensations of 10,000 roubles are paid to 9,860 victims," Boris Glebov said.
He also stated that the groups, involved in activities to prepare lists of lost properties, were enlarged, and additional commissions were created, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
Today, Alexander Tkachov, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, cancelled the restriction on payment of initial payment of 50,000 roubles per family; at present, 10,000 roubles will be paid to each person, affected by the flooding, the "Interfax" reports.
"The Krasnodar Territory will find a way to allocate additional funding for that," said a staff member of the administration of the Krasnodar Territory.
