A picket with the demand of freedom to Hilal Mamedov passed off near the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Moscow
"Citizen's Assistance" human rights center held a picket is support of Hilal Mamedov near the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Moscow.
Activists of Talysh organizations and representatives of aboriginal peoples of Azerbaijan took part in the action near the Embassy of Azerbaijan together with Moscow human rights activists. Svetlana Gannushkina, Chairperson of "Citizen's Assistance" committee, was among the participants of the action.
The participants were holding posters: "We demand immediate release of Hilal Mamedov!", "Our Citizen's Assistance to Hilal Mamedov!", "1 - Novruzli Mamedov; 2 - Hilal Mamedov: who is next in turn?!", Talysh media agency reports.
None of the personnel of the Embassy came out to meet the participants. The action passed off without incidents. After its end the organizers passed their demand to a representative of the Embassy, Contact online news reports.
