In North Ossetia, cadastral engineer detained on suspicion of bribe-taking
Officers from the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Combat of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of North Ossetia detained a cadastral engineer of one of the commercial organizations on suspicion of taking a bribe, amounting to 500,000 roubles.
"The cadastral engineer asked a resident of Vladikavkaz to pay 1,050,000 roubles for mediation in providing a land plot in Fiagdon Gorge in the long-term lease," stated a representative of the press service of the Republic's MIA.
According to the representative of the press service, one of the commercial organizations located in the village of Kombileevskoe, where the suspect worked, works in cooperation with the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) "Alaniyatekhinventarizatsiya". On June 25, the cadastral engineer was detained in the office of the SUE "Alaniyatekhinventarizatsiya" barehanded, when he received money in the amount of 500,000 roubles.
The criminal case was instituted against him under Note 1 of Part 5 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (aiding in taking a bribe). The detainee faces imprisonment of up to 7 years.
