In Dagestan, resident of Shamkhal village takes from morgue body of his nephew killed in special operation
Ramazan Akhmedov, a resident of the village of Shamkhal, was allowed to take from the morgue the body of his nephew Iskhaq Magomedov, who was killed on June 10, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan, in the course of operational and search activities in the outskirts of the village.
"Officers from of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) in the Kirov District of Makhachkala did not allow us to take the body of our nephew, and they referred to the lack of the document from the Dagestani FSB that Iskhaq had nothing common with militants and was not involved in the armed underground. The document was provided, and we took the body and buried it in accordance with the canons of Islam," Ramazan Akhmedov said.
He has also reported that blood of the closest relatives of the killed man was taken for genetic analysis. Iskhaq Magomedov was 33 years old. He was married, and his three minor children depended on him. Iskhaq Magomedov was registered at the local OVD (Interior Division) as a follower of Wahhabism.
In their turn, officers from the Investigatory Division of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) in the Kirov District of Makhachkala refused to comment, referring to the lack of information.
According to lawyer Gazimagomed Khiriev, staff members of the ICRF violate the law, when they refuse to give out bodies of killed persons.
