Resident of Kabardino-Balkaria reports on kidnapping of her son

This morning, in the street of the city of Tyrnyauz (Kabardino-Balkaria) Arthur Urusov, a local resident, was kidnapped by unidentified persons. This was reported by his mother Fatima Urusova.

According to her, Arina, the wife of the kidnapped man, and Ismail Kerimov, a resident of Tyrnyauz, witnessed the incident. Ismail Kerimov managed to write the state registration number of kidnappers' car.

According to Ismail Kerimov, the kidnappers fled in a VAZ-21114 car of silver and white colour with the state registration number of E020VM (07 region). This was reported by the Office of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" in Nalchik.

Fatima Urusova said that relatives had filed a complaint about kidnapping to the Police Division of the Elbrus Region, and the prosecutor's office refused to accept the complaint. The woman has explained that "the policemen have promised to call if they would know anything; however, till that time, no news was reported."
