Regular soldier killed in Nagorno-Karabakh
Aram Gyulnazaryan, a 19-year-old regular soldier, was killed in shelling of Karabakh fighting positions, committed by Azerbaijan. This is reported by the Division of Information and Propaganda of the Defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh. In its turn, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) accused Armenia of violating the ceasefire in the area of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
According to the Ministry of Defence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the incident occurred this morning. Aram Gyulnazaryan got a fatal gunshot wound at the fighting position of one of the military units, deployed in the east direction, and died on the way to the hospital.
Leaders of the Defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh have expressed their condolences to the family of Aram Gyulnazaryan, the IA "News-Armenia" reports.
Till present, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) did not comment on the statement of the Defence Army of the NKR. However, the Azerbaijani MoD reported on violation of the ceasefire in the area of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. "On June 17 and last night, the armed forces of Armenia shelled units of the Azerbaijani army from the positions, located near the villages of Yusifdjanly, Myarzili and Shikhlar of the Agdam District, Geiarkh of the Terter District, Tapgaragoyunlu of the Geranboi District, and from the positions, located at nameless heights. Return fire suppressed the shelling," the "Trend" quotes the report of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence as stating.
