Ingushetia: prosecutor assistant accused of creating IAF denies his earlier evidences
On June 15, the Supreme Court of Ingushetia held another session on the case of Ali Dobriev, 26, an employee of the Prosecutor's Office, accused of creating an illegal armed formation (IAF). The defendant said that he had evidenced against himself under the pressure of the investigation.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the lawyer Ali Dobriev, Senior Assistant of the Sunzha District Prosecutor, was detained on September 18, 2011, in the village of Ekazhevo. According to investigators, in 2010 he created an IAF, which was involved in a number of attacks committed in the territory of the Nazran District. In late March, the criminal case was delivered to the court.
The trial announced the evidences given by the defendant at the preliminary investigation.
"At the trial Dobriev denied his participation in the indicted crime and explained that his confessions had been knocked out of him under pressure," said the Secretariat of the Supreme Court.
The court announced a break and appointed the next session for Wednesday, June 20.
