Abkhazian Forum of People's Consent urges politicians to gather to work out solution to crisis situation in republic

The Forum of People's Consent, which unites the Aytayra (Revival) opposition movement, People's Party, Abkhazian Mothers for Peace and Social Justice movement, Union of Abkhazian Writers, Center for Humanitarian Programs, and Abkhazian Children's Fund, finds it necessary to demand that the President and the Parliament should pass amendments to the Law on Presidential Elections within a month.

"If these amendments are not passed, it will mean that the Parliament and the President wittingly aggravate the situation and leave no other choice to the Abkhazian people but to use unconstitutional ways and demand not only the President's resignation but the dissolution of the Parliament," members of the Forum hold.
