Detention of resident of Roshni-Chu village - details

A resident of the Roshni-Chu village Amagov was detained in his house by Russian servicemen on December 28, 2003.

The servicemen came in three APCs at night, at about 3 a.m. They beat Amagov and his aged parents, who asked to set their son free (the servicemen broke an arm to Amagov's father by a submachine gun butt and badly hurt his mother's head).

Then they took all valuables in the house. Amagov is married and has a small son. The detained man has worked as a forestry officer at the Urus-Martan forestry. Today his whereabouts and destiny are unknown.
