Night abduction of residents of Kulari village

Tamara Kantayeva turned to the Ingush office of the Information Center of the Society for Russian-Chechen Friendship on December 31, 2003, asking for help in the search of her relatives: 42-year-old Ramzan Kh. Isayev and 30-year-old Suliman Kh. Isayev, who are natives of the village of Kulari, Chechnya's Urus-Martan district. According to Tamara Kantayeva, gunmen in masks and camouflage uniform rushed into the house of the Isayev brothers on the night of December 9-10, 2003 and took them in an unknown direction. The Isayev brothers have worked at a local state farm. One of them is a tractor driver, the other brother is an electrician. Both the brothers have families. The whereabouts of the Isayevs remain unknown so far.
