Beslan to open composition "Good Angel of Peace" in memory of terror act victims

On September 2, the city of Beslan, North Ossetia, will open an architectural and sculptural composition "Good Angel of Peace" in memory of the victims of the terror act committed in September 2004 at School No. 1.

The sculpture was handed over to the city on decision of the International Union of Charitable Organizations "World for Good". The main idea pf the action "Good Angel of Peace" is in the unity of people of different nationalities and faiths, originating from different regions and states. Small sculptural composition have been erected already in 26 cities in the world, the "Interfax" reports.

The height of the composition is 10 meters. The place for the monument was chosen for a long time; eventually, the choice was made in favour of the circular intersection of Mira and Sigova Streets, located near the railway, where there are many people, the portal "Fifteenth Region" reports.
