Georgia is getting ready for presidential election

Georgia is getting ready for the early presidential election, scheduled to be held on Sunday, January 4.

Approximately 3 million voting ballots were to be sent on Friday to all election polls, including the Adjarian Autonomy, the press-service of the Central Election Commission disclosed.

In the course of the November 2 parliamentary elections, 3.3 million voting ballots were printed for Georgian citizens (excluding citizens of the two breakaway republics of Abkhazia and South Osetia).

Observers from many countries of the world, including from the EU and Russia, are expected to participate in the Georgian presidential election.

950 foreign journalists will cover the election.
