Journalist Teplischev in Astrakhan compulsory evicted from his dwelling
Journalist Oleg Teplischev reports that on May, 11, he and his mother were compulsory evicted from two flats belonging to them located in one of the houses in the center of Astrakhan.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that the judgment of eviction was passed by the court the moment when Teplishev was in hospital. He received the news of the judgment from the bailiffs.
"I was on a sick-list. On May, 6, I came to see the doctor and was quickly discharged. Half an hour later, at about 11:30, the bailiffs arrived together with representatives of the administration and started eviction. I asked them to grant us time to pack up our things. They gave me time only till May, 11. I certainly could not pack up everything. Many of my things remained in the flat", Oleg Teplischev said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to the journalist, the case of his eviction had lasted for over five years. In Teplischev's absence, the municipal authorities carried out an expertise and in 2007 passed a resolution stating that the house where the Teplischevs' flats were located was in an emergency state and the house was a condemned one. Oleg Teplischev organized an independent expertise at his own expense according to which the house was not in an emergency state.
The journalist considers the dwelling granted to him and his mother instead of their former one as an unequivalent substitute and the judgment of his eviction as a "compulsion to an illegal transaction" and an act of pressure from the authorities. He is going to appeal against the judgment of eviction to a higher court.
