Abkhazian refugees occupied building of topography institute in Tbilisi

Some dozens of refugees from Abkhazia occupied a building of the topography institute in Tbilisi by force on Monday.

The refugees' representatives hold that "the topography institute has not been functioning for several years already but the building of the institute is quit suitable for living in it."

The police called by institute officials have not taken any actions against the refugees yet.

Institute officials, in their turn, state that "the refugees' incursion is illegal and the authorities must take adequate measures."
