Militiaman's family attacked in Dagestan, there are two victims

Our source in law enforcement agencies reported that last night two strangers in the settlement of Leninkent, Karadudakhken district of Dagestan, fired a shot at a local militia inspector, his wife and daughter.

The accident happened at about 23:00 Moscow time.

The unknown men called the officer out of the house and shot him down point-blank from self-firers. Hearing the noise his wife and daughter ran out of the house and the criminals fired at them, too, ITAR-TASS reports.

According to RIA "Dagestan", as a result of the attack the militiaman and his daughter died on-site from gunshot wounds, his wife was also wounded and taken to the local hospital.

A representative of Press service of the Ministry of interior affairs of Dagestan informed that Rasul Magomedov, the victim, had been awarded the "Order of Courage" several days before, RIA "Dagestan" reported.
